Each leader in the P4S project represents one of the following sectors that works directly with the South region communities:
Public Health, Social Services, Prevention, Education, Youth Development, Faith-Based, Mental Health, Government, and Law Enforcement.
With the involvement of these leaders comes a unique understanding of the region’s needs. This understanding is crucial to the success of the project.
The leaders, known also as the Core Group, are tasked with developing a strategic plan to advance communities where opportunity and greater access to health, education, and emotional well-being raises the quality of life, and prevents the onset of substance abuse, chronic disease and early death.
